In less than a decade the department has established five in-house, ACGME-accredited fellowship programs, alongside a long-standing affiliated Hematology and Oncology fellowship.
The Department of Medicine works beyond borders and sets no limit on its aim for excellence. We believe continuous learning leads to greatness: alongside a residency program established decades ago, we keep expanding the opportunities to train here, and we continue to seek approval for more programs.

A new ACGME-accredited track starting July 2026: a two-year CCM fellowship for IM and EM graduates, plus a one-year track for our ID–Critical Care fellows.
A one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship in one of NYC Health + Hospitals' leading palliative care programs — inpatient consults, longitudinal clinic, long-term care, and home hospice.
ACGME-accredited since 2023 — training endocrinologists to care for multicultural and underserved patients, with hands-on thyroid ultrasound and biopsy and protected research time.
ACGME-accredited since 2023, with a combined Infectious Disease – Critical Care track — training ID physicians who serve a diverse, underserved community.
A New York Medical College–affiliated fellowship with two fellows rotating at Lincoln at any time.
Fellows are employed under the CIR / NYC Health + Hospitals agreement. PGY-4 through PGY-7 salaries and the full benefits package are listed with the residency benefits.
