Ambulatory Care

The Ambulatory Care practice occupies more than 15,000 square feet and receives about 75,000 visits per year. It is open six days a week with daily evening hours and is built around efficient, patient-centered care.
All residents spend about a third of their training in the outpatient setting. Faculty practices are fully integrated with resident practices, so house staff work side by side with their preceptors in continuity clinic each week and during dedicated ambulatory block rotations every year.
The division also leads two newer programs that residents take part in: the Lifestyle Medicine Program, launched in 2024, and the Social Medicine rotation, which brings care and health education directly into the community.
