Neurology

A Joint Commission–certified primary stroke center and thrombectomy-capable center, with continuous EEG, Ceribell point-of-care EEG, and EMG and epilepsy clinics.

The Division of General Neurology provides highly skilled, value-based care in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders. Lincoln is a primary stroke center with The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval and is a thrombectomy-capable center. The service provides inpatient and outpatient EEG monitoring, including continuous EEG used primarily for neurology ICU patients, and makes extensive use of Ceribell point-of-care EEG in the ICU and emergency department. Subspecialty clinics include EMG and an Epilepsy clinic.

Amy Postelnik, MD, MPH

Dr. Postelnik completed all of her medical training in her native New York City: her medical degree at SUNY Downstate, neurology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and epilepsy fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia. She is board certified in both Neurology and Epilepsy and has been an attending at Lincoln since 2021. She founded the weekly subspecialty Epilepsy clinic and introduced continuous EEG monitoring, and is an assistant professor at Weill Cornell.

Mallory Luckey, MD

Dr. Luckey grew up in South Carolina and attended the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed residency and a stroke fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital and is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology.

Masheena Jamelo, MSN, AGPCNP

Masheena Jamelo, MSN, AGPCNP

Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Jamelo earned her BSN from The College of New Rochelle and her MSN from St. John Fisher University, training as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical experience includes outpatient geriatrics, adult primary care, and occupational health at Lincoln, caring for adults with complex chronic conditions in underserved communities.
