Since the Simulation Laboratory was opened at 2012, it has run countless of simulation events. Annually , Lincoln conducts is Sim Fair wherein all medical and non medical hospital staff can participates in various simulation exercise to stimulate learning and grant new experiences. For the Program, simulation exercise runs 2-3 x a week in a 1 hour session. It aims to enhance physical examination skills (using our state of the art mannequins), procedure efficiency which includes central line placements, intubations, lumbar puncture, ophthalmoscopic examination, otoscopic examination etc. The laboratory also conducts Ventilator Management teaching sessions. It also runs mock codes simulation (in sim lab and floors) that aims to enhance efficient response to hospital emergency scenarios.
