This busy service provides experience in both inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiology care. Pathology includes cardiomyopathies, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias and Ml. Teaching in interpretation of EKGs, perfusion studies and cardiac ECHOs are provided. An optional 4 week rotation at Bellevue hospital in Manhattan under the auspices of NYU is available during residency and focuses on CCU care and invasive cardiology.

Kenneth Ong, MD (Chief of Division). 34 years of experience. Attended the Health Science Center at Stony Brook and Dr. Ong recently joined the 5 team faculty from New York Presbyterian/Brooklyn Hospital Center.
