Hematology/Oncology



This service provides experience in a wide variety of solid and liquid malignancies. Lincoln serves a high prevalence population of patients with Sickle Cell disease and thalassemia. There are a fully staffed outpatient chemotherapy unit and bone marrow collection, testing and genetic analysis is provided through a third party. The cancer center is run in close proximity to Breast and GI surgery, Urology and Palliative services with a dedicated social worker and pharmacist. In-patient apheresis is commonly performed. Residents are also encouraged to attend Tumor Board on Wednesdays mornings which integrates Pathologists. Radiation Oncologists, Oncologists, and Pharmacists to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
A Fellowship in conjunction with New York Medical College is available.
