The Division of Neurology provides inpatient consultations (average 80 per month), outpatient clinics (320 scheduled visits per month), electromyography (EMG), and house staff teaching. Typical inpatient consultations are for stroke, seizures, and neurologic complications of medical conditions. Typical clinic visits are for migraine, neuropathic pain, epilepsy, Parkinson disease, multiple sclerosis, and dementia. Our medical education program includes didactic teaching sessions plus supervision of rotating residents from the Departments of Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Psychiatry.
Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Stroke Center and can provide advanced therapeutic modalities for patients with acute strokes.
